Dozens of volunteers turned out bright and early Saturday morning (April 28) to don work gloves, bright orange vests and then venture out to help give Burien a ‘Clean Sweep.’
This is an annual local volunteer cleaning project sponsored by Discover Burien (we’re members).
Numerous groups showed up to help, including members of Makeover Burien, who focused on graffiti removal.
Publisher/Editor Scott Schaefer was there as well, and he took the following pics (click images to see larger versions):

Hello Btown Blog, Three Tree Montessori School had a great time at the Burien Clean Sweep. What a great day. We noticed a picture of one of our volunteering families in your cleansweepkids image. Thank you for covering so man community events.
