Burien Farmer’s Market is Open, and We’re There with FREE Coupons!
The Burien Farmers Market is officially open for the season today (Thursday, May 3) and runs until 6 p.m. at Town Square Park.
As we’ve done for the last four years, we’re there all day – blogging live – so come see us, hang out in our booth, get some great FREE Coupons for local businesses, and take a listen to our latest sister media venture SoKing Internet Radio, which we’ll be blasting (okay, gently playing…) at our booth!
Our tent often serves as a gathering place to find out what the latest local news is, what events are going on and more, as well as a place to give us story ideas and tips or just hang out and shoot the breeze with our friendly staff.
The Farmers Market is produced by Discover Burien (we’re members, and Publisher/Editor Scott Schaefer is on the Board of Directors), and features local farm fresh foods, produce, arts, crafts, vendors and much more.
The market runs every Thursday through mid-October, and hours are 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
It’s located at Burien Town Square, at SW 152nd Street and 5th Place SW.
It has developed into a very successful market with 40 to 50 vendors each week, so be sure to make plans to support your local producers (and original local indie bloggers; accept no substitutions or copycats –we’re the official blog of the market)!
