BTB Contributor Gregory Rehmke was out Friday night (May 5), and was able to capture the following photos of the ‘Supermoon’ as it rose over Lake Burien (click images to see larger versions)

The ‘Supermoon’ is considered the biggest and brightest full moon of the year, due to the fact that the Moon passed closer to Earth than usual – within around 221,802 miles from Earth, which is about 15,300 miles closer than usual.
