‘Remember Century 21’ at Burien Library on Saturday, May 12
In the spirit of the 50th anniversary of Century 21, MOHAI invites you to explore the memories, memorabilia, and myths of Seattle’s 1962 World’s Fair through a series of free community-wide workshops. Co-hosted by Seattle Public Library, KingCounty Library System, and the Seattle Center Foundation, this series of workshops and seminars will teach you the skills needed to discover, document, and distribute the fascinating histories of one of Seattle’s most influential events through the use of personal experiences and collections.
Introductory workshops will review the basic history of the Fair, and introduce participants to the historical research skills needed to explore Century 21 memories, souvenirs, and legacies.
