The City of Burien announced Tuesday (May 8th) that it will be providing a graffiti-removal pilot program for commercial properties.

“In the past property owners were responsible for removing graffiti within 10 days,” reads an announcement on the city’s website. “Under the new program the City will remove the graffiti free of charge. However, a new City ordinance requires graffiti to be must be removed within 5 days of issuance by the Code Compliance Officer of a Graffiti Removal Notice.”
