On Saturday (May 12), a group of about 15 or so generous B-Towners ‘mobbed’ their way into Lasting Legacy Antiques, located at 101 SW 160th Street, with at least $20 cash in hand to spend.

This was the second such organized local Cash Mob, with the first being Goodie Gumdrops on March 24 (read our coverage of that here).

Lead by Organizer Gina Bourdage of Discover Burien, the objective of Cash Mob Burien is:

We each do a little. We all do a lot.

A top secret group of highly motivated locals founded Cash Mob Burien, with a nod to the model from the original founders nation wide. More about them below.

As most of you have heard by now, our cover is blown… but that’s a great thing. Discover Burien is the official “Top Secret” group behind the Cash Mob Burien Events. We love our local businesses and want to keep them in town and thriving. If ever you would like more information please email us at [email protected]

Here are photos taken by fellow Cash Mobber Scott Schaefer, who snatched the coolest find of the day – an original ‘Muskrat Love‘ 45 by Captain & Tenille (video below!), priced at just 50 cents! (click images to see larger versions/slideshow):

Lasting Legacy is located at 101 SW 160th Street, at the corner of 160th and First Ave South; phone: (206) 246-0047.
