A woman was found dead in a fire that destroyed an RV in Normandy Park Tuesday morning (May 29) around 7:15 a.m.

A 22-foot RV was found fully engulfed in the driveway of a home in the 1900 block of SW 170th (map below) when firefighters from the Burien/Normandy Park Fire Department arrived.

“It was quite a mess,” said Battalion Chief Doug Luedeman.

Investigators were still on scene around Noon Tuesday, with SW 170th blocked by crime scene tape.

The victim has not yet been identified, and the Normandy Park Police Department is handling the investigation.
