The Puget Sound Blood Center will be conducting a blood drive on Monday, June 11 at Burien’s St. Francis of Assisi, and they’re seeking more donors.
“Only 18 people are signed up,” they said via email Wednesday morning (June 6). “We are aiming to reach 35 donor registrations!”
Puget Sound Blood Center hopes to build up the blood supply for our community during the month of June in preparation for Summer, a time of year that is tough for the blood center – since more people are active, there are more accidents and the demand for blood increases. Meanwhile many regular donors are on vacation or out of their regular routines and the supply decreases.
“Please help build a strong supply this month as we prepare for Summer shortages!”
