Last week, the Rotary Club of Burien/White Center awarded $10,500 in Scholarship money to local students at a special luncheon.
In all, some 15 scholarships were handed out in a ceremony at Angelo’s Restaurant in Burien.
Here’s a list of the winners:
- Walter O. Carsten Memorial Scholarship: Mustafa Bullo, Evergreen Campus
- Dick Dahlgard Memorial Scholarship: Robert Rink, Highline High
- Dr. Frank Tanaka Memorial Scholarship: Mercy Kiniu, Puget Sound Skills Center
