Bishop Law Offices, P.S., an established plaintiffs personal injury law practice, has an immediate need for a personal injury paralegal fluent in Spanish.
The person selected for the position will provide attorney support and be responsible for cases in pre-litigation and litigation status. Duties include:
- Direct contact with clients, court personnel, attorneys and other legal & healthcare professionals
- Draft correspondence, memoranda, discovery and pleadings
- Calendar and track all discovery and other deadlines
- Obtain, review, and summarize medical records
- Schedule and track depositions
- Assist with mediation and trial preparation
- Organize pleadings and discovery material
- Prepare trial notebooks and exhibits
Skills and Qualifications needed:
- 2 years minimum PI experience
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Litigation experience
- Knowledge of Federal and State court rules
- Proficient in Court filings including e-filing
- Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree
- Current Washington state driver’s license and clean driving record
