REMINDER: Ballots for the Aug. 7 Primary Election are due by 8 p.m. – both by mail or via Ballot Drop Box.

As we’ve previously reported, a shiny new Ballot Drop Box was recently dropped onto the sidewalk near Burien Town Square Park at SW 152nd near 5th Place SW, near the City Hall/Library building.

“The deadline to return ballots is Election Day,” reads an announcement on the King County Elections website. “Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day or in a ballot drop box by 8:00 p.m. on that day.”
