Farmers Market Vendor: ‘Too Stinkin’ Cute’ & ‘Skull Pretty’ Family-made Crafts
[EDITOR’S NOTE: As we try to do every week when we’re at the Burien Farmers Market – since 2008 – we do a Spotlight on a Vendor.]
This week’s Discover Burien Farmers Market Vendor of the week is a very creative, family-run crafts booth that sells original creations like hand-painted glasses, flower hair accessories, scrapbooks and more.
When we say family-run, we’re talking about Mom (Fonna Sholes), Daughter Deanna Kelly and Stepdaughter Holly Sholes, all of whom work and create goods they sell at farmers markets not only in B-Town, but in Kent and Auburn as well..
At their Burien Farmers Market booth, which is usually located around the halfway point on the east side of 5th Place SW, you can find handmade scrapbooks and materials, beautiful and unique hand-painted glasses (each one a work of art signed by Mom Fonna Sholes), handmade flower hair accessories and more.
Fonna also does face painting at the booth, as well as t-shirts, furniture and even custom orders.
So come on down and find them, and be sure to tell them you read about it on the Blog!
Other than in-person at the Burien Farmers Market every Thursday, here’s where you can find out more about them:
