Normandy Park Man Sentenced to 41 Months for Bicycle Hit and Run Death

The King County Prosecutor’s Office is reporting that Erlin Garcia-Reyes, 28, was sentenced Friday afternoon (Aug. 10) to 41 months in prison for the hit and run death of cyclist Michael Wang on July 28, 2011 in Seattle.

As we previously reported, Garcia-Reyes plead “Guilty” last month as charged to Felony Hit and Run.

The sentencing hearing was before Judge Michael Trickey.

The sentence range for felony hit and run is 31 to 41 months in prison. Prosecutors recommended 41 months.

    So let me get this straight … killing someone with a car is less than 4 years in prison!? Woot!
