UPDATE Tuesday 8/14/12: We just received word from the folks at Normandy Animal Hospital that Tuesday morning the owners of the found Black Lab Dog were contacted, and will be picking her up later this afternoon.

“Thank you so much for your help!!” said Beth.

Our friends at Normandy Animal Hospital want our Readers to know that they have this lost Black Lab dog at their clinic (click image to see larger version):

“It was lost either late last week or this weekend and was found near The Cove,” they told us.

If you are the dog’s owner, or know who it might be, please call 206-248-3345 to identify it.

NOTE: We have confirmed that this found Black Lab is *not* the one we reported missing over the weekend. That dog was found safe and sound Monday (Aug. 13).

He sure looks like the guy that cruises over to the community center, he likes to watch the kids play on the playground. Perhaps flyers can be posted there?

I found this lovely dog wandering near the Cove and took her to my car. A Normandy Park Police Officer came by and I asked for his help. He indicated he was responding to another problem. Soon Officer Dave from the Animal Control arrived. I gave him my business card and said if this pet was not found, I wanted to be notified so I would adopt and she would not be put down. I later called the number posted, and discussed this and was told a woman brought the dog in. I later called, and left a message. After not receiving a reply, I again called last week, but still not reply. Can you confirm this Black Lab was reunited with her owners?

    Thank you.
