Back by popular demand – the Highline Historical Society, in conjunction with the South King County Genealogical Society, will hold an introductory series of classes in September for people interested in researching their family tree.
If you wish to learn more about your ancestors and where they came from, but need help in figuring out how and where to start, this is the class for you.

Classes will take place at the Family History Center at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 14020 Ambaum Boulevard SW, Burien. Sessions will begin at 1:30 PM on the last three Saturdays of September (9/15, 9/22, and 9/29). Each session will last two hours and will be led by genealogy experts Winona Laird and David Liesse. Among the topics discussed will be record types (vital, census, church, military), databases, software, and more.
