Advertiser Burien Liquor & Wine: Well Stocked And Open Seven Days A Week
Burien Liquor & Wine, now privately owned and managed, may look from the outside much like the state-run store that occupied their space for several years.
But take a look inside and you’ll see: This is not your governor’s liquor store.
Burien Liquor & Wine, soon to be an Advertiser here on The B-Town Blog, is located between Albertson’s and Trader Joe’s at Five Corners on First Avenue South just north of SW 160th in south Burien.
They opened June 9 and are open seven days a week.
“We provide full disclosure pricing,” said co-owner Sandy Mann. “We have honest price tags.” This means that the price you see at the shelf is the price you pay at the register.
“We do special orders, too,” Sandy added. “If there is something you like or are interested in we will do our best to bring it in for you right away.”
Check out their wide selection of bar tools, another inventory area largely ignored by the state liquor stores. Shot glasses and stemware and bottle openers. And all the stuff you need to shake … or stir … that poured-at-home martini.
“We are your one stop shop,” Sandy said.
For example, the store has a wide variety of mixers. No more running across the street for Coke or ginger ale. Your lemons and limes and bags of ice are right there.
Top-of -the-line Scotch and some of the best selling craft beers in the state can be found at Burien Liquor & Wine.
“We are the only action in town that has huge selection and we have the service,” store manager Mary Hartness told the B-Town Blog earlier this summer.” Many customers are very pleased that the new owners retained Mary from when the store was run by the state.
Burien Liquor & Wine’s slogan is: Selection. Service. Value.
Come in and say Hello to the crew: Mary, Debbie, Sandy and Raj.
