City Light Power Outage Affects Over 3,300 in Burien Saturday

A power outage caused by an equipment failure struck the Burien area Saturday morning (Sept. 8) at 9:30 a.m., according to a Tweet sent out by Seattle City Light.

The outage affected some 3,362 customers, and as of around Noon all but 11 have been restored.

We’re not yet sure where exactly the outage was, but will update this post when we learn more.

Officials are projecting a complete restoration by 5:30/6 p.m. today.
