The B-Town Blog learned today that Burien Community Development Director Scott Greenberg has resigned effective Oct. 15 to take a similar position with an Eastside suburban city.
Greenberg has worked for the City of Burien for 14 years, serving in his current position since 2001.
His new job reportedly will cut his daily commute by more than half, and also keep him closer to his winery in Woodinville where he produces award-winning Convergence Zone-brand wines.
We’ll be doing a more in-depth story on Greenberg soon, so stay tuned…

Thanks for all your hard work, Scott. I’ve appreciated your rational approach to difficult projects.
And best of luck with the Convergence Zone. I’ve enjoyed your wines.

…Please take the Mayor, City Attorney and Mike Martin with you. To bad that most people do not go deeper and investigate things. They might have found/find out who you guys really work for. And let me tell you …you guys do not work for the people of Burien.
A Community Development Director that didn’t live in Burien? What the heck?
