Paintings by Teresa Burrelsman Installed at Burien Community Center
Artist Teresa Burrelsman will be displaying her paintings in the lobby of the Burien Community Center from now until the end of November.
The community center is open Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Teresa is a Seattle artist working in oil paints, pastels and mixed media. Teresa believes art is a powerful way to share stories, emotions and unconscious connections. Through her art, Teresa shares her love of nature and good design. Her work ranges from representational to abstract, exploring themes of nature, memories, architectural composition and patterns.
Teresa is a passionate environmentalist, sustainable building consultant and artist. She has worked in architecture and environmental design for the past 16 years and has studied art and art history as part of architecture studies at the University of Illinois and University of Arizona. She has also studied painting and drawing at the Pratt Fine Arts Center and Gage Academy of Art in Seattle.
