Trick or Treat! Discover Burien’s ‘Boo In Burien’ is Coming Saturday, Oct. 27
Discover Burien’s annual “Boo in Burien” is coming Saturday, Oct. 27, from Noon – 4 p.m., with free, safe trick or treating, family fun, hayrides, a great haunted house (courtesy BTB Advertiser Moss Chiropractic), kids’ crafts, free photos, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin painting, story telling, costume contests (for both kids AND dogs), and the classic Wiener Dog Race!
FYI, the free candy starts at Noon and goes until the dreaded “Sorry, Out of Candy” signs go up (a sad sight for any child…).
This is a great opportunity to get foot traffic, and local businesses are encouraged to participate – if you would like to give out candy at your business please contact the Discover Burien Office at [email protected].
“This is the perfect time to introduce your business to parents of trick or treat-ers,” according to an announcement. “Specials, promotions and information about your business are a great way to introduce your business to Mom and Dad.”
Discover Burien has arranged for business owners to purchase candy at just $1.68 per pound. Volunteers will pick up and deliver candy to participating business prior to Boo. To place an order for candy please download and fill out this form (PDF file) and return no later than by Friday, Oct. 19.
