A power outage hit the Burien/SeaTac area Wednesday, Oct. 24 just before Noon, affecting nearly 2,000 City Light customers.

We know that JFK High School lost power, as well as a resident near SW 160th and 10th SW.

UPDATE 10/24/12 3 p.m.: The cause, according to the City Light website, was a tree.

The initial estimate for power restoration was 3 p.m., and it appears that now there are only two customers without power.

To see the outage area, check City Light’s System Status website here.
