UPDATE 10/28/12: 12:15 a.m.: We just got word that King Lysen, the 70-year old man suffering from dementia who went missing Saturday afternoon, has been FOUND safely!

And if you recognize the name King Lysen, it’s because he’s a former State Senator and politician who served in the 1970s and 80s.

A 70-year old man suffering from dementia wandered away from his home in the Shorewood neighborhood of Burien Saturday afternoon (Oct. 27) around 4:30 p.m.

Relatives believe King Lysen left to “catch a bus” to their daughter’s home.

He stands 5’10”, weighs 195lbs, is white haired, and was last seen wearing a peace cap and jacket.

“He has no ID or money with him that we know of,” Jane Armstrong told The B-Town Blog. “A police report has been filed and metro have been notified. He shuffles when he walks.”
