Charges Increased Against Burien Man Accused of Stabbing Ex to Death Oct. 20

Charges were increased Thursday morning (Nov. 15) from ‘Murder Second Degree’ to ‘Murder First Degree’ for Scottye Miller, the Burien man who is accused in the fatal stabbing of his ex-girlfriend on Oct. 30 in Auburn.

Miller, 30, was arraigned this morning and pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the amended charge.

He remains in jail with bail set at $1 million.

A case setting hearing is scheduled for Dec. 13 at the Maleng Regional Justice Center.
