After seven years, Sunday (Nov. 25) will be the closing day at Germaine’s Country Kitchen, located at 127 SW 153rd Street in Burien.

“We had a very good run, but it is time for me to retire for a while and move back to my hometown, Wenatchee, work on the house, and take some time off,” Owner Jacki Cote said on her Facebook Page. “Maybe even drive the wheat truck this summer!…and take care of my Mom, whose health is failing.”

According to a Facebook post, Germaine’s will shut its doors for good at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday (they’ll open at 7 a.m.), so if you’ve never been, this will be your last chance.

“I’m gonna be an emotional wreck for the the next few months while I leave all the wonderful customers and friends!!” Jacki added. “But I am also looking forward to some time off, 4 days off in a row for 7 years is not enough!”
