Annual Tyee Holiday Bazaar Offers Fun, Food and Crafts this Saturday, Dec. 1

Students, staff and families associated with the schools at the Tyee Educational Complex have been gearing up to host the community at the annual Holiday Bazaar – coming this Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Bazaar offers something for everyone, all wrapped in a festive holiday atmosphere. Visitors can choose from:

  • Holiday shopping – more than 100 vendors selling handmade and commercial items
  • Holiday trees for sale – proceeds will support the Global Connections Wind Ensemble trip to perform at the Inauguration Music Festival in January
  • Pictures with Santa
  • Food vendors – breakfast, lunch, espresso stand
  • Prize drawings
  • Activities area for kids

The student DECA group at Global Connections High School has taken the lead in creating this event.

“We want to thank the Sea Tac Rotary Club for partnering with DECA to make this event possible,” said Alana Vinther, Marketing/DECA Teacher at Global Connections High School.

WHAT: Annual Tyee Holiday Bazaar

WHEN:  Saturday, Dec. 1st 2012, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

WHERE:  4424 S. 188th Street SeaTac, WA 98188, Seatac, WA, 98188 (Tyee Education Complex – see map below)

COST: Free to attend, $50.00 per table to be a vendor

INFO: There will be over 100 booths filling thei Big gym, Small gym, as well as Cafeteria.

VENDORS: Applications are still being accepted and with thousands of attendees coming each year, this is an opportunity you do not want to miss being a part of! The Holiday Bazaar features pictures with Santa, a Christmas tree sale, Prize drawing, a children’s activity center, Breakfast, and Lunch from our student store and drinks including an espresso stand that can be delivered directly to vendors table upon request. Also available is assistance carrying vendors items from car/table before and after Bazaar.  We invite the community to come join us and get a head start on your Holiday shopping or have some fun selling your handmade and selected commercial items.
