At Center Tool, you can rent this wood chipper, which is even bigger than Doug Stevens himself.

When the rain and wind and snow barge in these next few months – and they will barge in – “we wlll be ready to assist you,” Doug Stevens, proprietor of Advertiser Center Tool, told us recently.

“We’re here to help you meet all your winter weather needs.”

A few years back “I had a pile of snow bigger than my truck” in front of Center Tool, Doug said.

Center Tool has generators, pumps for heavy rains, dehumidifiers and wet vacuums, in addition to log splitters, chippers and chain saws, too.

“And we have small portable generators that are easy to move around the yard. We have carpet dryers and turbo dryers,” Doug said.

“We’re open seven days a week and our slogan is ‘We Rent Most Anything’.”

Doug and his crew are located in the bustling Delridge Triangle, where West Seattle meets White Center at Roxbury.

He began working at Center Tool Rental when his parents, Jack and Stella, started the business in the 1970’s.

Zoe is Center Tool’s friendly German Shorthaired Pointer.

And Zoe, Doug’s friendly German Shorthaired Pointer, is doing great as usual, happily greeting all comers to Center Tools.

Glad to see that Center Tools is advertising in the blog. As a resident of Burien for 35+ years, I have had many reasons to rent from what used to be White Center Tools now Center Tools.

I find it interesting that it entirely located within the city limits of Seattle. White Center really does go past Roxbury whether anyone wants to admit it or not.

I still rent from there, although do to age , not as frequent as before.

It is a very good neighborhood business.
