If you’re wondering why there was so much police activity in the Chelsea Park area of Burien (see map below) early this morning (Wed., Nov. 28), the King County Sheriff’s Office is reporting it was due to a pursuit of a man for a stolen car.

“One of our deputies spotted a stolen car just before 0130 this morning in the area of 14200 block of 4 Ave SW,” Sgt. Cindi West told The B-Town Blog. “The driver ran from the car and a foot pursuit was on. The helicopter was in the area helping. The suspect was located and arrested for Investigation of Possession of Stolen Vehicle.”

The suspect is a 24-year old man from the SeaTac area.
