REMINDER: Friends of the blog and Advertiser Jim Coleman, DDS, and crew want to remind our Readers that their annual Stuffed Animal Drive will continue through Thursday, Dec. 20.

These animals are for children who visit the Highline Medical Center Emergency Rooms.

Readers’ donations of stuffed animals will be greatly appreciated. And one person who donates will win a $100 gift certificate.

Every year, between Thanksgiving until just before Christmas, the folks at Dr. Coleman’s office collect and deliver stuffed animals to Highline Medical Center’s Emergency Room. The huggable little buddies help calm children who visit the Emergency Room seeking care for injury or illness.

“We’ll draw from a list of names of everyone who donates a stuffed animal,” said Lynn Coleman. “The winner will receive a $100 gift certificate good at the Burien retail establishment of the winner’s choosing.”

Please feel free to donate stuffed animals directly to Dr. Coleman’s office, during regular business hours, at 1800 SW 152nd Street in Burien. Donations will be accepted through Dec. 20.

“We will deliver the stuffed animals to the ER a couple days before Christmas. So if you want to drop them by our office before then, that would be great! Let’s make those kids feel comfortable, loved and cared for in the best ER in the Seattle area!”

Dr. Coleman’s office phone number is 206-242-4477.
