Sometimes you just need a pleasant image to absorb and enjoy.
Recent studies even suggest that:
- people live longer if their homes are near a park or open green space
- students do better on cognitive tests when they view natural settings
- children with ADHD have fewer symptoms after outdoor activities in natural environments
With that said, and in light of some recent bad news, we encourage everyone to take a long, absorbing view at this great 180-degree panorama photo, courtesy Maureen Hoffmann, who adds:
There’s a high point along the Indian Trail that has a 180-degree view out over Puget Sound: (left to right) Normandy Park, Des Moines, Redondo, Mt. Rainier (when visible), Tacoma, Maury and Vashon Islands, the Olympics (when visible). Always beautiful.
Of course you should get out and enjoy views like this in person, but for now you can click this image to see a larger version:

where is the 360 degree view? My eyes can’t see it. I see the beach side, but not thr city side.
There’s a hillside and bushes behind me, Glenn, so it’s not as visually breathtaking as the other half of the circle. (Though at the right time of the year, there’s a bush covered with cherry pink blossoms.)
Bellissimo!
