UPDATE: Male Australian Shepherd Mix Found, Safe and Sound!
UPDATE 1/7/13: Abby Fisher is happy to report that “Buddy” has been found, safe and sound!
PREVIOUSLY: BTB Reader Abby Fisher wants everyone to be on the lookout for her missing dog “Buddy,” an altered male Australian Shepherd mix that went missing Sunday, Jan. 6, apparently after being spooked by fireworks.
He was last seen in the vicinity of SW 160th and 8th Ave SW (map below).
“He did not have his collar on because we were trying to let his itchy skin heal (he has a chronic pancreas/liver thing going on),” she told us. “The theory is that when the Seahawks won and our neighbor let off fireworks the dog freaked out and dug out under the fence. The neighbor has been letting off fireworks every time they win a game and the dog panics.”
Here are the details on Buddy:
- Australian Sheppard Mix
- 72 lbs.
- NO TAIL
- Very Friendly
- No Collar
- Obvious signs of itchy skin & fur growing back on rump
- Last seen in the vicinity of SW 160th and 8th Ave SW
If you’ve seen him, please call Abby at 206-579-3408.
