Twenty-two units have sold since September at BTB Advertiser Burien Town Square , and new Financing as well as a Marketing Program starts this week!
NEW SALES MOMENTUM
The hot real estate market has reached Burien, as The Residences at Burien Town Square now has 22 new sales since September 2012. Now 34 homes have closed and homeowners have moved in, and 10 more sales are pending.
“As the Seattle and South King County markets see an increase in home sales, it is nice to see the pace of sales of condos in Burien Town Square pick up each month as well,” said Dan Trimble, Economic Development Director for the City of Burien. “The addition of new residents also means new customers for our businesses. This positive trend can only help the momentum to complete the Town Square development and improve Burien’s business climate.”
One reason condo sales are picking up is that it’s just that much easier for potential buyers to find financing right now. Currently, Union Bank is offering conventional 5% down loans with no private mortgage insurance (PMI), on the next six sales at Burien Town Square.
Once the entire building reaches 50% sold, conventional 5% down financing will be available from many lenders. With the current sales momentum, the marketing team anticipates reaching that goal by late spring.
A new promotion just launching celebrates the Burien Town Square team’s appreciation for the Burien community:
The promotion will include an update to www.BurienTownSquare.com/location and advertising in local media and social media. The first 100 people who bring in a receipt from a featured local business to our sales center will get a free “I Love Burien” tee-shirt.
NEW EVENING OPEN HOUSES
The sales center and model homes are open every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., but those hours don’t work for everyone. Buyers and brokers can always make an appointment to tour before or after open hours. Now they can also stop by “Second Wednesday” — the new evening open house happening the second Wednesday of each month. Every month will feature appetizers from a different local restaurant, plus visitors can take home a $10 gift card to visit that local business for themselves.
The next evening open house will be Wednesday, February 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. featuring a special Valentine’s Day cupcake from Burien’s own “Cupcakes and Balloons.” Model homes and building amenities including the community room and fitness center will be open for touring.
