The Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT) program trains members of neighborhoods, community organizations or workplaces in basic preparation and response skills.
CERT members are then integrated into the emergency response capability for their area.
Training sessions are held annually in the spring, and run for seven consecutive weeks on Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m.
The next CERT training will be held:
- March 14, – April 25, 2013
(Final MOCK training on Saturday, April 27)

- Team organization
- Disaster psychology
- Terrorism and CERT
- Practical final exercise
