The City of Burien on Friday issued a ‘Construction Alert,’ warning of closures on SW 146th at 1st Ave South (map below) starting Wednesday, March 27:

Starting Wednesday, March 27 through Friday, March 29, the east and westbound approaches of the intersection at SW 146th and 1st Avenue South will be closed or access limited. North and southbound traffic along 1st Avenue South will be congested. Please consider alternative travel routes and plan for extra travel time.

All approaches are expected to be fully accessible around 4 PM but it is possible that there will be one day of overnight closure.

Please drive safely especially during construction activity.
