The folks at Highline Veterinary Hospital are in possession of this dog, found earlier Monday morning (March 25) crossing the street by the 7/11 on SW 136th in Burien:

FoundDog032513

He is wearing two jackets that are velcroed on him, and is a “very cute and nice little dog.”

He is not microchipped, nor is he wearing tags.

If you recognize him, please call 206-510-1908.

Hi guys, I’m actually in possession of the dog currently. The vet wouldn’t hold on to him , he is a cool lil guy. Hopefully we can find the owner ASAP

      Burien C.A.R.E.S. is a local shelter http://www.facebook.com/pages/Burien-CARES/241579422536735?ref=ts&fref=ts

      Maybe they can help.

Rachel A. — That was a kind and helpful thought. However, Burien CARES is a terrible place for a little dog to end up. There is no way to guess what might happen to him there. See Debi Wagner’s letter to the B-town Blog today about the 26 things an independent evaluator found wrong with CARES. The most frightening one in my opinion is that they have LOST 285 animals. That’s right — LOST — nobody knows what became of them, if they died, were killed, escaped out the front door, died of neglect, were sold to someone as a pet, or what. This dog’s best hope is that someone will see his picture on the B-town Blog and contact you. Another thought is to put his description on Craig’s list in hopes that his owner will look there.

Well the dog is going to Burien cares, I dropped him off at the vet after work. And they work directly with them…

I was informed the owners picked him up today
