Sheriff’s Office Holding Meeting on Registered Sex Offender April 15
The King County Sheriff’s Office announced that a detective from its Registered Sex Offender Unit will be conducting a community notification meeting on Monday, April 15 regarding Level 3 registered sex offender Keith Crum (pictured above).
Crum is registered as living in the city of Burien.
The meeting, which starts at 6:30 p.m., will be held at the Burien Police Station, located at 14905 6th Ave SW.
Regarding Crum, police say:
IN 1998, WHEN CRUM WAS 25 YEARS OLD, HE HAD SEXUAL CONTACT AND SEXUALLY ASSAULTED A 13 YEAR OLD FEMALE THAT HE KNEW. IN 2002, WHEN CRUM WAS 29 YEARS OLD, HE SEXUALLY ASSAULTED A 15 YEAR OLD FEMALE THAT HE WAS ACQUAINTED WITH. IN 2005, CRUM WAS RELEASED FROM PRISON. CRUM IS NOW LIVING IN THE CITY OF BURIEN. “Level 3 offenders are considered to have a high risk to re-offend,” reads a note on the Sheriff’s website. “They usually have one or more victims and may have committed prior crimes of violence. They may not know their victim(s). The crime may show a manifest cruelty to the victim(s) and these offenders usually deny or minimize the crime. These offenders commonly have clear indications of a personality disorder.”
