City of Burien Accepting Proposals for Solid Waste/Recycling Service

The City of Burien announced on its website Tuesday (April 2) that it is accepting proposals for collection of residential and commercial garbage, recycling and compostables.

The initial contract term will be for seven years.

The City’s current contract with Waste Management expires on May 31, 2014.

So for all of those B-Town garbage and recycling startups, here’s your chance – don’t let it go to waste!

      You should worry about the fine print…your bill will be going up. The City Powers will be imposing ALL of Burien to pay for Garbage p/u…read the fine print…City is willing to pay Wasted Management to impose New fees for new system…..BEWARE
