UPDATE: Missing 76-Year Old Woman Josephine Herman Has Been Found!

MissingJosephineHermanUPDATE TUESDAY 4/9/13: Josephine Herman, a 76-year old woman, was found in Sea-Tac late Saturday evening, according to Doug Jenkins of the Des Moines Police Department.

“She was involved in a minor traffic collision,” Jenkins told The Waterland Blog. “After being treated and released from Highline Hospital, she went home with family. Thank you for putting the information on the blog.”

PREVIOUSLY: The Des Moines Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered 76-year old woman named Josephine Herman.

She is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 98 pounds, and was last seen by her family over 24 hours ago – on Friday, April 5.

Mrs. Herman suffers from memory loss and may be lost and disoriented. She follows the same routine every day and visits a family member at the same time.

She never arrived for her daily visit on Saturday (April 6). Late in the day police received information Mrs. Herman was seen in the Enumclaw area and indicated she was lost.

Mrs. Herman was last seen driving a blue 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass with Washington license plates AKM2028.

If you see Mrs. Herman or her vehicle you are asked to call 911 or the Des Moines Police Department at 206-878-3301.
