He also was a transit planner with the Spokane Transit Authority for 15 years.”

Davis has a bachelor’s degree in planning from the University of Washington and conducted graduate work at Eastern Washington University.

    Hey Eaton B Verz…………..

You know the background on this guy. He was a planner for the City since 2002. I guess he worked (city of burien website) on…………..

Previously, he worked as a consultant for communications companies developing cell phone tower sites in Washington, Oregon and Idaho as well as upstate New York. He also was a transit planner with the Spokane Transit Authority for 15 years.

He was elected by Mike Martin….so you could kind of imagine where this is heading,
Since he was a transit planner (Joan mcGilton) must be happy since she and her friend Reagan Dunn are invloved with transit too in King County.

Its interesting Mike Martin was involved in SF 911 communications project and they were Millions of dollars cost overruns. So Chip Davis and Mike Martin have something in commen and that is communications.

I bet they have alot to talk about. And I am sure they will all be working for the city of Burien. But not for the public. Can you trust them?

Who needs facts when speculation is so much fun? Promotion from within is good enough for the conspiracy theory. And if they hire from outside, they have a problem with employee turnover. Always something to bitch about.

Tin foil hat time. Hmm, he talks on phones, so he must be tied to the evil telecom. conspirators, who were in bed with the 911 folk, who once knew the the dog walker of Mike Martin’s brothers partner, who knew their next door neighbor of the guy who sold vinyl siding to the janitor buddy of the Schwanns’s salesman….

          Whoa…totally unreal…

            Burienite,

            Right.

And I’m embarassed to admit that I’m part of the communications conspiracy since my dad was a telephone company lineman about thirty years ago.

Lee Moyer, Burienite, chip Davis, Michael Martin….I can see you all are “communications” lovers. No wonder you all stick up for each other.

I know that you know that you are covering up dirt.

But believe me…it will catch up with you. Dirt always shows.

            Dear May:

Loosen-up the hat a bit. What in heavens name are you talking about? “.,..Self serving individuals that work for their developer friends.” Huh?

I’ll leave you a quote from a favorite movie of mine, and I’ll comment on this no more:

Go sell crazy someplace else–we’re all stocked up here….

The few times I’ve dealt with Chip, I found him to be fair and reasonable. With a future change in city manager and the ousting of the Hole-in-the-Head gang, Chip should make a fine Community Development Director (provided he doesn’t buy into that “global warming/Seattle granola bar agenda” nonsense).

Mike Martin, Chip Davis, Scott Greenberg, Joey Martinez, Brian Bennett and the rest (they know who they are) all fall into the same category. Self serving individuals that work for their developer friends.

By developer friends do you include Westmark Development who Burien just permitted to clear the 10 acres off 134th/12th Ave South to build 179 apartments? Just what we need is to clear that steep slope so that the land slides and takes the surrounding homes and condo’s with it. Clearing permitted but no building plans have been approved?
