On Wednesday, May 22, Burien’s Navos will be hosting its 5th annual ‘Bigger than Breakfast’ fundraiser at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Seattle.

The event runs from 7:30 – 9 a.m., and will be hosted by KING-TV’s Meeghan Black.

The 2013 Expanding Horizons Award will be given to Dr. Helen Teresa “Trez” Buckland in recognition of her pioneering efforts to support recovery for young adults who live with the challenges of mental illness.

“I invite you, your friends and colleagues to join us for this annual event to celebrate recovery and resiliency – and the potential of every one of our clients to manage their symptoms and lead a life of wellness and self-sufficiency,” said Dr. David Johnson.

THIS IS A FREE EVENT. Guests will be invited to donate at the event.
Proceeds benefit Navos, Ruth Dykeman Children’s Center, and Seattle Children’s Home programs and services that support our King county community of low income children, families and adults with emotional and mental illness — so they may achieve their greatest potential for Recovery and self-sufficiency.

The Sheraton Hotel is located at 1400 Sixth Ave, Seattle (DIRECTIONS)
