Kennedy Catholic High School will be holding a ‘Battle of the Bands’ on Tuesday evening, May 28, to raise emergency relief money for victims of the devastating tornado that struck Moore, Oklahoma earlier this week.

The fundraiser will be held in the school gym, and will start at 6:30 p.m.

Admission is $5, and event t-shirts will also be on sale.

All money raised from admission and T-shirt sales will go to Oklahoma Red Cross.

“As we come back from Memorial Day vacations this weekend, Kennedy Catholic students will be rallying to support Oklahoma families devastated by the May 19 tornadoes,” reads an announcement. “Students have responded to the tragic situation with a resounding call to help so the student leadership council decided to raise money through a Battle of the Bands!!”

The Battle will pit four bands made up exclusively of Kennedy Catholic students – many of whom play in the school’s award winning marching band and have taken top honors in state-level competitions this year. The music is sure to rock and the crowd will be hopping – for emergency relief for our neighbors in Oklahoma.

Kennedy Catholic High School is a 4-year college prep school located in Burien, WA. Kennedy Catholic’s mission is to Graduate Leaders Following Christ in a school community that is accessible, diverse and committed to pursuing the fullest potential of every student.
