5th Annual ‘Cards for a Cause’ Casino Night for Hospitality House is June 15
The 5th annual ‘Cards for a Cause’ Casino Night – presented by Soroptimist International Seattle South to benefit Burien’s Hospitality House – will be held from 6 – 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 15.
“Hospitality House is an incredible organization that helps homeless women find home, health and hope,” reads an announcement.
This event usually raises between $15,000-$20,000, and attendees must be 18 or older to play.
The evening will also benefit the Highline Community College’s Women’s Emergency Fund, which is for women students who are in need of immediate financial help to stay in school.
“Help us make a huge difference with your sponsorship. With your help Soroptimist International Seattle South will be able to raise that much more for Hospitality House and HCC Women’s Emergency Fund. Together we can ensure many women and young girls in our community have the help to improve themselves in home and in society.”
RSVPs are not necessarily but suggested so organizers know how many people for the two time slots for the tournament.
First place winner prize is a trip for two to LA to watch a Lakers game from a private suite. All 8 finalists from the tournament will be given prizes (that is 4 winners from 6 p.m. slot and 4 from the 8 p.m. slot.
There will also be a Silent Auction with approximately 50 items, including Poker sets, coffee basket, bathroom basket, jewelry, garden items, Golf equipment, auto items, kitchen basket, etc.
