Story & Photos by Robbie Howell

The first B-Town Beat Music and Art Walk went so well on the 6th of June that the beat goes on, continuing to grow and blossom in downtown Burien.

Live music, painting and the spoken word were fabulous.  Some of the children painted a public mural at “Phoenix Tea.” Others painted pictures with vegetables at the Burien Library and the Burien Dance Theater invited people to come watch students practice dancing.

Thanks to the businesses that participated by having artists and quality entertainers to make this Burien’s best ever Music and Art walk.  The poster on the wall at The Mark Restaurant says it all, “You Can’t Stop The Beat”!
