Rotary Club of Burien/White Center presents $12,250 in Scholarships

The Rotary Club of Burien/White Center presented scholarships totaling $12,250 to local high school seniors this month.

Recipients attended a luncheon in their honor at a recent Rotary meeting.  Many family members and school faculty were also in attendance.

In addition, three awards were given to students who show their commitment to their communities and reflect Rotary’s Motto of “Service Above Self”.

“Burien/White Center Rotarians send congratulations to all the Scholarship and Service award recipients!” reads an announcement. “We’re very impressed with the students’ accomplishments and excited to be helping with their education expenses.  We have no doubt they will be successful as they move forward in their future endeavors!”
