Burien Toyota is the place & Sunday is the day to ‘Stuff the Bus’ for Westside Baby
One of the most helpful and well run public service groups around is WestSide Baby.
You can help them in their cause to assist young families with the more expensive items needed for childcare this Sunday, July 21 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
It’s the 13th Annual WestSide Baby “Stuff the Bus” Diaper Drive.
Please take a few minutes and stop by Burien Toyota (address below) and drop off diapers and other items. WestSide Baby will get them to the families who can most use them.
“The most needed diaper sizes are 4, 5 and 6,” said Pam Stallcop of Burien Toyota. “People can drop off car seats, strollers, high chairs and portable cribs.”
For safety reasons these items must be new, not used.
“We’re anticipating a great response Sunday,” Pam said. “It’s going to be very exciting. We also could use PJ’s and boys pants, sizes 4T – 12,” Pam said.
WestSide Baby, in partnership with the local community, provides essential items to local children in need by collecting and distributing diapers, clothing, toys and equipment.
From the WestSide Baby website:
“Since opening in 2001, we have distributed over $10.25 million worth of diapers, clothing, equipment and other items. In 2012, we served over 22,000 children! We provide our items in partnership with more than 80 social service agencies working directly with families.”
