BTB Reader Desiree Gonzalez of the Highline Veterinary Hospital wants everyone to know that they have a cute little dog in need of a new home:

“She is a little poodle terrier (maybe Jack Russell) mix that was dumped on our doorstep at Highline Veterinary Hospital last week in a tiny crate along with her brush and collar,” Desiree said. “We don’t know how long she was left there, we just found her the next morning all scared.”

Desiree adds that she is very sweet and outgoing, and exhibits signs of being potty trained.

“We spayed her and updated her vaccines so she is ready for a new home,” she added.

There is an adoption fee to cover her medical and to ensure she goes to a good home.

Applicants may contact the hospital at 206-243-2900.

Did she get delivered in a blue carrier? Last week at the Albertsons on 128th and 1st avenue someone left that puppy in the heat by the USPS box. It wasn’t till later in the evening someone noticed. I heard someone say they would take to the vet.

I am glad she was found. But those at Albertson’s should have made sure she made it inside your vet hospital.

Animal cruelty is wrong. If you have an animal and dont want it take it to the vet. They can at least help. The original owner should be ashamed for what that puppy went through.

Highline Veterinary Hospital–thank you so much for helping this little dog and spaying her along with all of the other TLC she is receiving from you.

I second what you said, Marianne. What a great thing for Highline Veterinary Hosp. to do.

Poor little thing. I’m glad she was not just dumped out on the street or worse..
