[EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is a Letter to the Editor, written by a Reader. It does not necessarily reflect the opinion of The B-Town Blog nor its staff:]

First Day –

Thank you to The B-Town Blog for a great forum to share ideas….

On my first day on the job, I will start an official effort to bring in new non retail jobs to Burien! Not having a dysfunctional City Council will make for a healthier climate to get this beautiful city growing and on a great track.

In my opinion we need elected officials who have vision. We will only grow if we have a council that listens to its citizens. Brings ideas to the table and responds to all of our needs.

As your councilman i will only promote programs that will bring in a profit for the city! I will work WITH our business community not against them! I will also advocate for a better use of our parks system.

If I receive the privilege of your vote, you will have a “seat at the table.” Your voice will always be heard!

With your vote, we CAN “grow a better Burien” and feel confident that i am the guy with vision, progress and success..

I look forward to your vote on Aug 6th and Nov 5th.

Thank you for your support,
Robert L Richmond III

Candidate, Pos #3
“we will grow a better Burien”

    Mr Richmond,
I am neither for or against you, but your letter is empty of even one specific action that you intend to take if elected.

If I am to vote for you, I would like to know what you stand for.
