Advertiser Southwest Suburban Sewer District will be rehabilitating its main sewer line along the SW 152nd Street Alley from Ambaum Blvd SW to 1st Ave South beginning in September and finishing by the end of October.

“We recognize that this sewer line services many busy Burien business establishments,” reads an announcement. “To reduce disruption to daily business, this project is scheduled for construction activities to take place between the hours of 10:00PM and 7:00 AM.”

This section of main sewer line was installed in the late 1950s, and it is made of concrete. It has performed well for over 50 years, but it is time for rehabilitation to give it another 50+ years of service.

Please contact the District with your questions or concerns with this project at 206.244.9575.

“Thank you for your patience as we complete this much needed construction project!”
