Why does a high school have such expensive playground equipment? I have never seen that at any other highschool.

Big Picture High School and Middle School is located at:
    440 South 186th St.
    Burien, WA 98148

It’s on the site of the old Manhattan school and is one of Highline’s “Innovative” schools. The play equipment is actually next to the Middle School area, but I’m not sure of the reason for it’s origin.

The Middle School is, I believe, in it’s 3rd year. I just know that the kids love to play on the structure at break like any other school in the area, my son was crushed when he what happened. Play structures are always expensive and they’re going to have to replace the entire play area.
