Burien Actors Theatre (formerly Burien Little Theatre) will be presenting The New Mel Brooks Musical YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, which opens this Friday, Sept. 20 and continues through Oct. 27.

The New Mel Brooks Musical YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN is a hilariously inspired take on the Frankenstein legend. The book is by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan with music and lyrics by Mel Brooks. Based on Brooks’ comedy film masterpiece, the musical follows bright young Dr. Frankenstein (that’s Fronkensteen) as he attempts to complete his grandfather’s masterwork and bring a corpse to life. With a live musical combo and tunes such as “The Transylvania Mania” and “Puttin’ on the Ritz.

This show is suitable for ages 13-plus.

The New Mel Brooks Musical YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN performs Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices range from $7 to $20. Check out special opening weekend ticket deals. For tickets or information, go online to www.burienactorstheatre.org or call 206-242-5180.
