4Culture seeking original Art for King County Public Art Collection

4Culture announced that they are seeking “original, high quality works on paper and photographs by studio artists residing in Washington and Oregon for inclusion in the King County Public Art Collection.”

The organization has $50,000 to spend, and the deadline to apply is Nov. 4.

The intent of this purchase is an infusion of color into the portable Collection.

Purchased works will rotate throughout the public spaces of County-owned facilities.

Deadline: November 04, 2013, 5:00 PM

Eligibility: Studio artists from WA and OR creating works on paper and photographs. Student work is not eligible.

Budget: $50,000

  1. Thank you for posting this call for artworks – 4Culture is very excited about expanding the collection with a focus on colorful works on paper. I would like to correct your reference, however. It should be King County Public Art Collection, not Collective. I am hoping you can make that correction for us.
